We had a great stay at this hostel in a central location. the common spaces and rooftop terrace were enjoyable, and there was a friendly vibe that made it easy to meet other travelers. the kitchen was spacious and never too crowded. Although the breakfast could be improved with fruit every day, we highly recommend this hostel. Thanks, guys!
Can't fault this property in any way! 😊.

The staff were super helpful and had great tour services. The Netflix TV was mind-blowing for chilling out. The organized BBQ night was jaw-dropping. So close to city plaza and the 24-hour reception was a huge plus. The location was really good, within walking distance from the bus station. The bathrooms were nice and the value for money was pretty good. There were many suggestions and touristic advice to make the stay enjoyable. The rooms were good and the location right by the city center made it easy to explore. I loved the free Wi-Fi in public areas, shared kitchen, and laundry facilities. The outdoor dining area was a nice touch. They even offered a welcome drink! The leisure/TV room was a great place to hang out and unwind. And if you're into horseback riding, they have that too! The luggage storage and locker room were convenient, especially for non-smoking room. Plus, no pets allowed.

The hostel staff were very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The location was convenient, with easy access to bus stops and shops. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained.
The cleanliness of the hostel could be improved, especially in the showers. The lack of AC in the rooms made them quite hot, and it would have been nice if the beds of departed guests were made promptly.

the location was great, just a short walk from the city center and the incredible art museums. the staff were super friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. the rooms were well-equipped with air conditioning and the kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. Plus, the hostel even had a BBQ for those feeling adventurous!
That there was a bit of a queue for the shower at times, but it was a minor inconvenience.

The staff at this hostel were absolutely amazing - they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were so generous and fun, always making sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of cereals and fresh fruit. The Netflix chill room was a great place to relax and unwind. But the best part of our stay was definitely the incredible people we met - we were genuinely sad to leave! The hostel had a great value for money, with its convenient location close to the city center and river. The staff gave us fantastic suggestions and tourist advice to maximize our enjoyment of the city. The rooms were spacious and clean, with high ceilings that added to the charm. The bathrooms were also well-maintained. Though the atmosphere was a bit lacking during our stay, it may have been due to the low season. The hostel had a big kitchen and plenty of nice seating areas. we highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking to explore this city - it's a fantastic place to stay!

During my stay at 531, I was pleasantly surprised by the prime location, just a short walk away from the city center. The convenience of being able to easily explore the town and access the bus terminal was a major plus. The rooms at the hostel were comfortable, providing a decent space to relax after a day of sightseeing.
There was one particular instance during my stay that left a negative impression. When I arrived early in the morning before check-in time, I encountered a staff member who was less than welcoming.

the staff at 531 were helpful and had good English skills. They allowed us to shower before and after our night buses. the common areas were spacious and pleasant, including the kitchen, dining room, and terrace. Despite some electrical issues on the upper floor, the receptionist made sure we had a fan and battery operated lights in our room. Cons: Nothing all good 😊.

The communal spaces in this hostel were fantastic. They had comfortable seating and a great atmosphere, making it feel more like an apartment than a regular hostel. Additionally, the staff were very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The location of the hostel was also very convenient, within walking distance of everything I needed. This made it easy for me to explore the area and find everything I was looking for.
There were a few downsides to my stay at this hostel. the bathrooms were a bit old and in need of some maintenance.

The hostel had a great location, with everything in walking distance. The staff was cool and friendly, going above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. There were good communal spaces and kitchen facilities, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The twin room was compact but didn't pose a big issue due to the available communal space.
The staff wasn't always friendly and only accepted cash payment. Additionally, there was no heating in the hostel and the shower area was cold, lacking lockers and towels.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
